It is a project for the social, cultural, economic and touristic development of the area that aims to create a dynamic territorial workshop where known or abandoned traditions, ancient professions, territorial and cultural resources are catalogued.
Six areas of study have been located; for each one have been created cultural maps that take a census of all the environmental, landscape, historical, artistic, archaeological, architectonic, anthropological and economic resources. The maps also list the landscape footpaths of enhancement, recovery and protection of the territory.
The most important projects of the different areas are:
Area 1 (Umbertide) il sentiero dei vecchi mulini ad acqua (the paths of the old watermills) and the projects i giochi al fiume (games at the river)
Area 2 (Parlesca - Solfagnano - Rancolfo - La Bruna - Civitella Bertazzone – Morleschio) the Riscoperta del mestiere del Barcaiolo, (rediscovery of the job of the boatman) with a visit to the berths.
Area 3 (Ponte Pattoli - Montelabate Ramazzano - Villa Pitlgnano - Ponte Felcino) Bosco Didattico (didactic wood), an environmental enhancement project dedicated to the knowledge of the vegetable kingdom, and Intrecciamo i fili (Braids the threads) an enhancement project of the industrial archaeology of the former wool factory.
