600 books, an equipped workroom big enough for 30 people; a darkroom for traditional and digital printing; a pose room and a photo archive of the work of Attilio Maria Navarra and the artists that collaborated with the Laboratorio.
Since December 15th 2017 the Forno – Laboratorio is a meeting and consultation place, committed to enhancing the historical and artistic heritage of the area.
The didactic proposal of the Forno – Laboratorio includes two exhibitions per year and a calendar of activities and events enhancing photography and the area. The Laboratorio boasts the Maurizio Galimberti’s exhibition “Surrealisme Perugino” (the artist has made mosaics using Polaroid photos of Perugino’s frescos of Città della Pieve and Panicale)¸ the exhibition “Ritratti e memorie pievesi nelle fotografie di Paola Agosti e nelle interviste di Mario Gianni” (Portraits and memorials of Città della Pieve through Paola Agosti’s photos and Mario Gianni’s interviews) and Silvia Camporesi’s exhibitions “Dimora teatro” (Theatre-Home).
The material of the temporary exhibitions is kept and catalogued in the photo archive open to visit.
